In a world of dreams that invites with a sweet and gentle touch, there lies a road flooded with joy traveled by two.

Inhabiting a teapot are the tsukumogami Chaki and Ryu—their job is to pour delicious tea. However, following the teapot’s dwindling use, it one day eventually breaks.

As for what awaits them on their departure to the outside world…

• A baby mountain who doesn’t know what they’re supposed to be.
• Chaki's water-person copycat.
• Yamada-kun who wears a mysterious costume.

...And many other strange, eccentric characters, including the beginner-ghost Marimo coupled with her veteran-ghost grandmother, and the truly kind Ijiwaru coupled with a stuck-on-tail cat, all spread gracefully across a mysterious world.
