This is an anthology that contains 11 of Kenji Miyazawa’s works that were adapted by the mangaka of Atagoul, Hiroshi Masumura, One difference in the adaptations is that most of the humans are turned into cats. Hiroshi’s adaptations would end up inspiring the character design of the 1985 “The Night on the Galactic Railroad” movie and the 2012 “The Life of Budori Gusuko” movie.
