Tanuki no Ongaeshi

In a certain country, in a certain region. Deep in the peaceful mountains, there was a tanuki caught in a trap. A kind-hearted young man who happened to pass by set the tanuki free. “I’m the tanuki you saved. I’ve come to repay the favor.” And so, the tanuki he rescued transformed into a human and returned to repay his debt of gratitude. The young man, who calls himself Kagehisa, quickly grows fond of the cute tanuki and, as part of the “repayment,” impulsively asks for something a bit naughty. Though his request is refused, he finds the tanuki’s reactions to his teasing adorable and enjoys the time they spend together, so he asks him to come by now and then just to talk…? A slightly naughty yet endlessly peaceful and heartwarming BL story about a human and a shape-shifting tanuki brought together by a bond of gratitude!
