Heaven

These seven stories take place in the mining basin of Chikuho, a region of the island of Kyushu and the author's native country. The misery of the mine is universal and no doubt the mines of Lorraine, England or Silesia also know these characters who dream of the sun and end up being satisfied with the heat of the moon.
