Billy Bat

Kevin Yamagata is the creator of American comic "Billy Bat", which stars an anthropomorphic bat on various adventures. After a brief visit from the police, Kevin travels back to Japan, where he served in World War II as a translator for Allied troops, to discover the origins of his comic and the generation-spanning conspiracy of a much more supernatural origin. As the story unfolds, jumps forward and back in time occur in a nonlinear fashion, unraveling the mystery of the bat sigils, historical events caused by their influence, and those afflicted by their prophetic abilities.
