Hayasaka Ruka is a 2nd year middle schooler living with her grandmother on Neijima. One day, she spots a strange figurine by the sea and brings it home with her. Upon placing it in a mountain shrine and making a small wish, "Fukunokami", which resembles a peculiar doll, appears before her. But as Fukunokami's influence grows, the islanders begin acting strangely!
Will Ruka's prayer become a blessing – or a curse?
