Knife and Pepper - Ichika's Cookbook

Set in Kyoto in the 1950s. The daughter of a long-established Ryoutei restaurant, Ichika was left only a kitchen knife as a keepsake from her husband, who did not return from war. Wanting to be independent, Ichika decided to work in the kitchen of a hotel for western cuisine.
