In a world where kaiju attacks are an everyday occurence, our fiercely otaku protagonist Haruto ends up being chosen as the candidate for the "Giant Anti-Kaiju Unit Vigness", despite having absolutely no will to fight them. However, when the things he likes are at stake, he'll do whatever it takes to protect them--even if it means transforming into Vigness Type-3.
