Onishi is a pastry chef, and his specialty is Baumkuchen.

He has just turned forty and, for the first time in his life, he is in love. Confused by feelings he doesn't yet understand, he asks his young apprentice for advice. However, Onishi is unaware that, before long, his destiny will change: transformed into a deformed and unsightly creature, will he be able to regain his human appearance?
