Japan enacts a polygamous marriage system in order to revitalize its sagging economy as well as the birth rate. But to qualify, you must earn income substantially greater than the average, have completed some notable achievements in sports, arts, or the sciences, or have done some great deed that earned you the recognition of the nation. Our hero Asao Shouhei isn't rich, or remarkable in sports, arts, or the sciences, but on one fateful day, he rose to become a hero of the nation. And this is his story… and the story of the three women who love him and become his wives.
