Satoshi Nakayama is a professional player of the Japanese soccer league. In a game, after discussing a decision of the referee, he is forced to retire of the professional soccer.

But soccer is everything for him, and three years after that incident, Nakayama becomes the trainer of the football team of the Shiba highschool, whose motto is "have fun playing".
