Z Mazinger

A retelling of Mazinger Z mixed with ancient Greek mythology with a modern touch.

The Greek gods and Olympians were in fact aliens with colossal metal bodies who gave humans civilization in ancient times. When the Olympians decided to destroy humanity, the god Zeus rebelled to protect them and drove away his former allies. In modern times, regular teen and soccer player Koji Kabuto stumbles upon Zeus's damaged body during an archaelogical field trip. When the Olympians attack again, Koji inherits Zeus's will and fights against them, controlling Zeus's body as Z Mazinger!
