New Moon and Cats

Neither lovers nor family, three cat-loving men and women live together. Akari, a 40-something single woman working at a bookstore, lives happily with Kanoko, a 30-something female doctor, Jin, a 20-something man working at an interior design store, and Mikazuki, their beloved cat. For Akari, who has led a very normal life in Kumamoto, it is the most "unusual life" of her life, but it is a very enjoyable one. This is a story of three lost adults and their beloved cat, who are on the way to a full life like a crescent moon.

Note: The series published its 1st volume by Tokuma Shoten/Tokuma Comics Echoes in 2019. The series moved to Shueisha in 2020, and the first volume’s released again by Shueisha (as digital-first, print in Oct ‘20). Serialization’s began in Cocohana 2020 June issue from the first volume’s end.

The series won the 1st Anan Neko Manga Taishou’s Grand Prize.
