Atsuko Maenishi, a humble and earnest editor of educational books at a publishing company, is suddenly transferred one day to an editorial department handling an erotic gossip magazine, which is a different field from her own. Naturally, her work does not go well due to the unfamiliar environment and content, and to make matters worse, she encounters the scene of her fiancé's infidelity! The repeated shocks upset Atsuko, and she stumbles into a time slip to the town of "Edo" (Tokyo).
