Foyle, bestowed with the job of the "False Hero", followed his role and expelled his best friend from the party. That friend awakened as the "True Hero" and Foyle was defeated... or so he thought. At death’s door, Foyle is saved by Iris, an elf girl and the only one that knew his true identity as a false hero dedicated to humanity.

Acknowledged by her as "My Hero", Foyle remembers his aspiration to save people like a hero and begins to desire to do so from the shadows. The "False Hero" who has lost everything becomes the "Hero of Shadows" and decides to embark on a new adventure!
