One rainy night at a mahjong parlor, Nangou, who was challenging the yakuza to a life-threatening game, was gradually being pushed into a corner. Suddenly, a soaking wet boy walks into the parlor. Nangou senses something extraordinary in him, and asks the boy, who has never even held a mahjong tile before, to play in his place. This is when the legend began. The boy's name was Akagi Shigeru, later known as the "Man of the Divine Realm."
