One day, Daisuke Kadota, also known as Daisuke, learns of the existence of Moncolle by chance. Around the same time, he learns that Saki Hanazono, a classmate he is interested in, is a Moncolle player, and tries to make her look good by saying that she is good at Moncolle, so she ends up actually starting to play Moncolle.
